Compliance

What does the compliance committee do?

The compliance committee is comprised of volunteers within the community that ensure the Deed Restrictions, Bylaws and Covenants of the community are followed. Several times a year, inspections of the homes will be completed. If any homes are found to be out of compliance, the homeowner will receive a notice to remedy the issue within 14 days. At the end of the 14 day period, the home will be re-inspected. If the issue was corrected, there will be no further action. If the infraction is still outstanding, the owner will be issued another notice and a $25 fine. For each 14 day period that an identified issue goes unresolved, an additional $25 fine will be assessed. If an owner refuses to comply and fines accumulate to more than $300, the HOA has the right to impose a lien on the property and/or pursue legal action against the homeowner.

The goal in establishing the compliance committee and enforcement of the Deed Restrictions, Bylaws and Covenants is to maintain the value of the homes in the community and protect our assets.
